Our Modbus bootloader communicates with C2Prog using Modbus TCP or Modbus RTU messaging. Both full-duplex and half-duplex links are supported.
Touchless reflashing can be implemented by having the application code listen to a specific sequence of Modbus messages received. If the correct sequence is received, the application resets the MCU to activate the bootloader, which then completes the programming session.
